Invasion of Haute Couture Societe

On Feb 16, my house was pleasantly "invaded" by 48 friends from the Haute Couture Societe of Stockton, CA. This was their third field trip to my home (my previous two houses each had visit by the Societe in 1997 and 2007). My studio and each room in my house including the newly decorated Cottage Cafe (converted from our former "tech center" generously given up by my husband Ken for my-younger-daughter's room-turned-mancave) were photographed, inspected and analyzed. After a hearty lunch, the ladies and the three gents visited the Thistle Dew Fabric Shop in Fair Oaks. It was fun to have many friends all in one place! I hear they all enjoyed the day trip.
